About

It’s wondrous to meet you.

It’s kind of hard to write about yourself; to put your perceptions into words.
Will it come off as selfabsorbed, cheeky, cocky? Or maybe someone will read this,
and feel a kindred, some sort of mutual understanding.
Either way, I’ll try to make sense of it.

A waitress wrote a letter on a receipt to me once.

“We are all of us living in the gutter, but some of us are looking up at the stars.” an Oscar Wilde quote.
It was then when I knew that which holds a beauty all its own.

I direct and create traditional, digital and stop motion animation,
cartoonisms, illustrations, scripts, compositions,
storyboards, character designs and concept art, scribbly doodily surrealist funky things,
musical nonsense of unusual sizes and all around shameless nerdy confectionaries.

Example below:

To my core, I am music.

Fancy racking up sound on a plethora of instruments including voice,
piano and guitar, various martial arts,
doodling, doodling, doodling, noodling, doodling,
discovering beauty in unlikely places and most importantly the unseen splendor
of the bizarre and unique.

Additionally, cooked up a crooked style called, ‘Surgery Art’.

My Dad always loved this quote by Mahatma Ghandi,
“Be the change you wish to see in the world.”
These are the words that carry my actions.

Anyone can change the world. All you have to do, is do.

To sum it up, I am a small conduit of something bigger, something beyond myself.
I believe we have only touched the ostensible surface of
the constructs defined under art and music, which may be one in the same.
They can cure disease at statistically alarming rates; open minds to new ideas;
bond lives together; change the physical composition of structures;
give hope to those who feel otherwise resoundingly lost,
and bring the most stoic of sentience crumbling to their knees,
explicitly foaming with crocodile tears of joy.

I dream to seek the answers and keep questioning,
to help others discover their potential
while relinquishing the restrictions and damage carried over
from a failed barter system that outgrew its own construct,
a commercially driven world collapsing in on itself,
and generations of collectively conditioned fears once instinctual
survival mechanisms rendered mostly detrimental in recent amalgamations.
Every living being has dreams. As long as those goals do not harm or torture another,
it is terribly important that everyone have the freedom to pursue them regardless of
religion, occupation, who they love or what a person fucking looks like.
Every single individual is born with that right.

In turn through these artaclysmic efforts,
they help me to grow and I think learn to be a better person.
Also always open to collaboration, don’t be shy.
Just ask

Life as we know it is far too brief to be ordinary;
so let’s move some hearts, get messy and most importantly,
let’s get weird.
